Summary

Sometimes, healing doesn’t come from medicine — but from colors, light, and emotion.
Healing Colors was born from my belief that art can touch the soul and bring comfort where words cannot.
Through my paintings, I want to bring light and warmth into children’s hospitals — and remind us all that even one small act of kindness can paint hope into the world. 🌈

The Colors That Heal – The Story of Healing Colors

I have always believed that art has the power to heal.
Not through medicine or diagnoses, but in a much subtler, invisible way — through colors, light, and emotion.

From this belief, the Healing Colors project was born — a dream with one purpose: to bring light, warmth, and life into the walls of children’s hospitals through my large, colorful, and energetic paintings.

Since childhood, I have carried within me the desire to give — to offer something back to the world, whether from what I’ve received or from what I once lacked.
I remember as a little girl, I often gave away my favorite things, small treasures that meant a lot to me. My mother used to worry, because we didn’t have much, but for me, giving always felt natural. If something made another person happy, I felt happy too.
Looking back, I realize that even then I was giving on a deeper level — not objects, but attention, kindness, and hope.

Creativity has always been part of my life.
As a child, I wanted to learn sewing and dreamed of owning a sewing machine so I could make beautiful clothes. At twelve, I was already selling small items at the local flea market to save money for my dream. Back then, I believed I would become a fashion designer.
But life led me down a different path. I became a photographer — and although my sewing machine turned into a camera, the feeling remained the same: to create, to see beauty, and to share it with others.

During my nine years in photography, I learned that light and shadow are not just technical elements — they symbolize the eternal play of brightness and darkness that lives within all of us.
Perhaps that is what eventually led me to painting.

In 2019, during the quiet months of the pandemic, when time itself seemed to slow down, I picked up a brush for the first time — not for others, but for myself. Not for commissions or expectations, but to express my inner world.
The colors came almost on their own: at first shyly, then with growing confidence. And as each canvas filled, I felt life returning to me as well.

In painting, I found a freedom I had never known before.

Here, I didn’t need to chase perfect proportions or flawless form. There was no right or wrong — only rhythm, motion, emotion, and color.
Vivid, joyful, harmonious shades seemed to pour out from the deepest layers of my soul. Each painting became a journey inward.

Then I became a mother — and suddenly, every color, every shade took on new meaning.
Motherhood is deeply transformative. It gives you strength and vulnerability at the same time.
In my life, these two forces collided when an unexpected change left me raising my daughter alone in a foreign country.

But I didn’t give up.
I didn’t want to run back home, because I felt that this path had a purpose. That everything I was going through was shaping and teaching me — and one day, it might give something meaningful to others too.

Painting became my refuge — the quiet space where I could find myself again and again.
Every free moment, I stood before the canvas, while my daughter’s laughter echoed in the background, reminding me why all of this mattered.
Because life can still be beautiful, even when it’s not perfect.

And that’s when the idea was born:

What if these colors that heal me could reach others too — especially those who need them the most?

That’s how Healing Colors came to life — a dream built on the belief that art is not just decoration, but a form of therapy.
My goal is to create at least 20–30 large-scale abstract paintings — each filled with joyful, life-affirming colors — and donate them to children’s hospitals and institutions.
So that even within sterile hospital walls, there can be a bit of sunlight, a bit of hope, and a touch of soul.

This isn’t about big words. It’s about something simple: I truly believe that a vibrant, colorful painting can ease fear, calm the heart, and bring a smile to a child’s face.
If even one child’s day becomes brighter because of it, it’s already worth it.

Of course, this project cannot come to life alone.
To buy canvases, materials, and build my own small studio — a bright, inspiring space where these paintings can be created — I need support.

That’s why I launched the Kickstarter campaign, where anyone can be part of this dream.
Because support is never something to be taken for granted — it happens when people come together.
It doesn’t take much. Sometimes, even a small gesture — the price of a coffee — can turn into color.

Every contribution is a new brushstroke, a new splash of color on this shared canvas that we’re painting together for the world.

In return, supporters don’t just become part of an art project — they become part of a real connection.
Everyone who stands beside me receives a small piece of this story — whether it’s an art print, a calendar, a photo album, or simply the warm feeling of knowing they’ve done something that truly matters.

Because art only lives when we share it.

I believe that colors go beyond the canvas — they connect us, even when we don’t speak the same language.
Healing Colors is not only about paintings; it’s about creating something beautiful together — something that heals.

If you too believe that beauty, color, and human kindness can change the world, then I invite you to join me on this journey.
Together, let’s bring these healing colors to the places that need them most.
